World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week  (WAAW)

World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) is a global campaign from November 18 to 24 each year to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and promote the responsible use of antimicrobials. The campaign encourages everyone to take action, with the 2025 theme being “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future”. This involves promoting best practices in human, animal, and plant health to reduce the emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections.
