The 2023 Barwon Health Research Symposium was held on the 28th of November to celebrate 2023’s year in research.

The symposium included presentations by established and emerging Barwon Health researchers, presentations by Best Paper of the Year finalists, an exhibition of research posters and the awarding of the 2023 Barwon Health Deakin University Research Prizes.

Congratulations to the winners of the Best Research Paper of the Year!

Specifically to our CIIDIR researchers, Dr Bridgette McNamara for winning the Clinician Researcher Category and Dr Luba Sominsky for winning the Scientist Category.
